Visiting
Yachtsman Guest Privileges

A
Visiting Yachtsman is any individual whose residence, business,
and yacht club address lies outside a 35-mile radius of Club
facilities, does not own or charter a yacht moored within the
Chicago Harbor System, and is a verified member of a yacht club
that enjoys reciprocity with the Club.

Visiting
Yachtsman must have a guest card prepared for them, including
an imprint of their credit card guaranteeing payment of any
charges incurred. Visiting Yachtsman must obtain a guest card
upon arrival. Guest cards are available at the front desk.

A Visiting Yachtsman is eligible for a guest card only once
within the same calendar month. Guest cards for Visiting Yachtsman
may be valid for a period not to exceed 3 days and 4 nights,
or the number of days the Visiting Yachtsman is docked at the
Club, which ever is less, unless special arrangements are made
with management.

Guest
privileges and use of Club facilities are limited to the Visiting
Yachtsman, and immediate family and crew thereof, unless other
arrangements are made with management.

Visiting
Yachtsmen will be granted dockage, when available, at non-member
rates.

At
the Monroe Station, space for Visiting Yachtsman shall be limited
to two slips on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which may be waived
by the Chairman of the Stations Committee on a case by case
basis upon due application.

Visiting
Yachtsman may enjoy Clubhouse privileges, after registering
with management, for the period their yachts are docked at Club
docks.

Visiting
Yachtsman shall be responsible for the observance of proper
decorum of themselves and their guests and crew.

Visiting
Yachtsman that use Club docks use them at their own risk.
-
Club
docks may be used only for the private pleasure of Visiting
Yachtsmen, as defined herein.

By exercising the privilege of docking at Club facilities, Visiting
Yachtsman thereby releases and discharges the Club from any
and all liability whatsoever for any loss or damage to the yacht
and injury to the owner and the guests, visitors, and crew of
the owner, that was not a result of any willful act by the Club
or its agents.
- Visiting
Yachtsman using Club docks take sole responsibility for properly
securing their yacht for all weather conditions that may occur
while docked.
- All
yachts, members and nonmembers, must registered with the Dock
Master upon arrival at and prior to departing the docks.
Dress
Code
A.
Attire Defined
1.
All attire should be well kept, clean, neat, and in good repair.
2.
Business Dress
a.
Men: matching suit or sports jacket with contrasting trousers;
long or short-sleeved collared dress shirt with tie, turtleneck
sweater or shirt with appropriate socks and dress shoes.
b.
Women: business suit, contrasting skirt/slacks and jacket,
dress with appropriate dress shoes.
3.
Business Casual Dress
a.
Men: clean and neatly pressed trousers. collared/collarless
dress shirts, sports shirts - crew or V-neck, turtleneck or
mock turtleneck sweaters with appropriate shoes. Please note
that this category explicitly excludes jeans and T-shirts
except for "designer" types.
b.
Women: clean and neatly pressed slacks, skirt, or shorts;
dress or sports shirts/blouses; sweaters with appropriate
shoes. Please note that this category explicitly excludes
jeans and T-shirts except for "designer" types.
4.
Casual Dress
a.
Men: clean trousers, shorts, or jeans; dress or sports shirts
or appropriate T-shirts; clean tracksuits and sweatshirts;
shoes or sandals.
b.
Women: clean skirts, slacks, shorts, or jeans; sports shirts,
blouses, or appropriate T-shirts; clean tracksuits and sweatshirts;
shoes or sandals.
5.
Prohibited Items or Conditions
a.
Bathing suits, running shorts or mini-shorts
b.
Bare feet or bare tops
c.
Singlet-type T-shirts (tight or loose fitting)
d.
Soiled work clothes, overalls
e.
Soiled or perspiration-infused exercise clothing of any type
f.
Wet suits, foul weather gear (should be checked in the cloak
room), wet clothing except in the Captains Cabin on heavy
weather days.
g.
Any clothing item with obscene, inappropriate, or offensive
wording or graphic images.
h.
Hats and caps shall not be worn in the main dining room. Women
may way hats that are appropriate to their outfit.
B.
Appropriate Attire:

Monroe
Station Dining Room: A portion of the dining room will be
reserved for both "Business" and for "Business
Casual" attire. The size, location, and demarcation of
these areas shall be at the discretion of management.

Monroe
Station Captains Cabin: Casual attire is acceptable at all
times.

Monroe
Station Mackinac Bar: Casual attire is acceptable at all times.

Monroe
Station Fireplace Lounge: Casual attire, except on those occasions
when the Lounge is reserved for member dining (in the event
of parties or functions in the main dining room) when the
attire shall be "Business Casual."

Station East Patio: Casual attire is acceptable at all times.

Wet
suits, foul weather gear (should be checked in the cloak room),
wet clothing except in the Captains Cabin on heavy weather
days.
- Belmont
Station: Casual attire is acceptable at all times.
