WHAT:           We invite you to a media preview to catch the excitement as skippers and crew prepare for the 2003 Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac presented by    Lands’ End Business Outfitters.  Many of the Race’s 300 participating sailboats will be docked at or near the Monroe Harbor Clubhouse at 400 E. Monroe.  Sailors from around the world, including veterans of the 333-mile race from Chicago to Mackinac Island at the northern end of Lake Michigan, will be making last minute preparations for the race.  The event, the world’s largest annual freshwater race, will mark its 105th anniversary this year.

Join us as the sailors make sure their boats are ship shape and hoist their brag flags for the 97th running of the Race to Mackinac.
